The story revolves around a frustrated businessman, who tries to commit suicide on the Christmas Eve, but is met by an angel, who makes him realize his importance in this world and how he has changed the lives of so many people around him. This movie is also considered to be one of the best family movies ever made. This movie has been rated as 8.7 out of 10 by rotten tomatoes and IMDB.

2. How the Grinch Stole Christmas: – Released back in 1966, this fantasy movie is about Grinch who plans to steal the Christmas tree from the Whos of the Whoville. Being a hateful villain he does not like people being happy and is envious of the people in the nearby village who are celebrating Christmas. The Grinch with his dog steals the Christmas tree and other things to make the people sad. It was rated 8.9 by rotten tomatoes and 8.4 by IMDB.

3. Homeless Holidays: – This Christmas movie was released in 2009 and was directed by George A. Johnson. The story is about a person who lost his job and is strangled in the hold of financial problems. He gets a job at a burger point but fears that he won’t be able to make enough money till Christmas to support his family. This movie is actually based on a true story and has been rated 8.4 by the rotten tomatoes.

4. A Christmas Story: – The movie is based on different funny, short and fictional stories written by the author named Jean Shepherd. It was released in 1983 and Peter Billingsley, Melinda Dillon and Darren McGavin have starred in this movie. The movie has been rated 8.3 by the critics from rotten tomatoes.
